1 large stock pot
1 knife for veggies
1 cutting board
- 2 TBSP butter
- 2 lbs boneless beef stew meat chuck, 1" cubes
- 4 c hot water
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 med onion sliced
- 1 small bay leaf
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 med/large carrots 1" chunks
- 3 large potatoes 1" chunks
Brown meat thoroughly in 2 T Butter
Add all other ingredients EXCEPT potatoes and carrots, simmer 1 hr 45 min, adding water if necessary
Add carrots and potatoes and cook about 30 min until vegetables are tender
