Salted Caramel Oatmeal Cookie Recipe
This buttery old fashioned cookie will bring back childhood at Grandma's with every bite

1 large mixing bowl
1 mixer
2 cookie sheet pans
2 parchment paper
measuring cups
measuring spoons
- 1 C Butter 2 sticks
- 1 C White Sugar
- 1 C Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 C All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour Fresh Ground if possible
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 C Raw Oats
- 1 C Walnuts Finely chopped
- 1 C Caramel Chips
- Coarse Sea Salt For sprinkling on top
Preheat oven to 350F
Cream butter and sugars together in mixing bowl. Blend well
Add Vanilla and Eggs
In separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients
Add chopped nuts and caramel chips
Add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients in mixing bowl
Scoop dough into 1 1/2 inch balls
Place on parchment on cookie sheet
Bake at 350F for 8-9 minutes, until center is done
